International connections

Can you guess what these maps represent?

Anyone?

Ah, well, I’ll tell you anyway: locations of my Facebook friends. It’s not completely representative, as it relies on the locations people have told Facebook they’re in, and not everyone sets a location. (And some people just lie: I know that one marker in California is actually someone very much in the UK!)

But hey, it’s still nice to see how Social Networking keeps us connected all over the world – even if it is mostly at an utterly superficial level.

Gor Facebook? Make your own maps on Where My Friends Be?.
